Le Chaleur - Bathurst

We enjoyed a couple of very good meals at this restaurant and would recommend it.The very best starter is Atlantic fish chowder – simply outstanding and there are several good main courses worth tryingService is fast and friendly and all the food is good

Was in town for work and decided to try this restaurant as it was attached to the hotel. I had salmon, rice which was under cooked and probably microwaved and mushy broccoli. It cost $22 tip and tax. Definitely not worth it. I won't be coming back again.

It was like ground hog day. Back in September we dined here while in town and had the same waitress. I ordered a rib-eye and she told me they did not have any and they were redoing their menu taking them off. Same exact story as before. Ordered ice tea unsweetened and when she brought it, it was like pure sugar. When we finally got the only steak they had is was ok but I would not recommend this place.

After reading reviews of this restaurant, we were a little wary of trying it, but we were staying in the hotel and it was convenient. We needn't have been concerned because both the service and the food were quite good.

We've eaten here a few times and every time we are quite pleased. Brunch is wonderful. Quite possibly one of the city's better restaurants.
