Burgersmith Perkins Acadian

Didn't expect the food to be as good as it was. It was pretty great. The burgers were pretty perfect like the Pommes. They weren't limp and undercooked how frits can often be cut into house. Perfect crispy. Whoever they had cooked in their backs today surely deserves a high five.

I think the bartender screwed up my order, because there should be no way the turkeyburger tastes so good. I didn't even know it was turkey... I think it's very suspicious. But the whole staff is great. Always polite, always accommodating.

Every time I go to Baton Rouge, I have to eat a trip here at least once. Large burgers and good selection of local beers. Bartender was very knowledgeable about her beers on tap and most local breweries. Bar and restaurant are a bit separated so the bar is a nice place to sit and see a game or talk to friends. You have local beer specialties, so ask your server. Great parking and access to the square. They are also close to the LSU campus. It is a bit too bright for my pleasure, but the service and beer selection makes it worth it.

Fantastic. Your root beer selection for her floater is great. The burgers were cooked for perfection!

I got the smith burger and it was pretty good. Be sure not to add onions since smith burger includes caramelized ones already.
