Now it still serves the traditionally indigenous food called Micolla which was the favorite dish for minority people lived in the North West of Battambang province. Very long lasting food store in Battambang province. So nice and historic
Simple and quick food. When I lived in Battambang I used to come here and the restaurant next to it quite regularly. I really enjoyed the fish amok, which I rate as some of the best in Battambang to my taste.
There is a kind of noodle that call Mee Kola a tradictional food from Kola nation (I 'm not clear about history, I just know that Kola nation is an old khmer nation too they live in Pailin location). The restaurant sell another food as khmer food for breakfast and lunch, yes there is a nice Prohok too.
Local breakfast that represent Battambang Mi KOLA មីកូឡា . Thinking about Mi KOLA is only available in Batambang. It a mixed of noodle, egg, Nut, its source, pickle. You will feel the different taste from the first bite. I like it so much.. i could come back Battambang often to just eat Mi KOLA.
I live here. There are many good willing Khmer food and you just choose what you want to eat, the price is so reasonable and the food is delicious. The owner of this place has been doing this business for over 40 years since 1980. Overall I love it and it is a good place to go for lunch or to take away Khmer food. Try it, you will not regret it!!!
