Delicious food at a sensible price in a very unusual setting. Definitely not to be missed if for any one with an interest in Railways.

For my birthday I wanted something special to our children and our growing Swiss family. where they would not expect. or know. we discovered it earlier in the year by total accident and just had to go back. there were nine of us for...lunch and we came with steam train from hinwil. max, his wife and her team have looked after us from the moment we left the train. eating is simple, unpretentious and beautifully cooked to order. the Croatian beer and wee are. book and lose time with friends. if the weather is nice, they can eat on the platform. or instead inside in the former house. for anyone who loves the railway, the ware is a sniffed nostalgic joy! I just can't thank them enough for the experience. only one point when they get out of the country, please take cash. because they are not foreign credit cards.

The bistro is set up in the former railway station neuthal. the esstic are in the former storage shed, where many objects testify to past steam railway times. although many are exhibited, time must not play a role. the small kitchen is where once the wartsaal was. maya and markus wildi run this small gastro operation with a lot of heart blood and engagement. it is very much respected for good quality of products. the menu hackbraten with kartoffelstock and sweet was excellent but had to be earned with much geduld. only negatiwpunkt was the rather expensive zeche
