Subway - Bay Point

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food was poorly wrapped, and the service was lacking. When I entered, there were several employees in the back, but none came to assist me, despite being the only customer in line. I ended up waiting for a staff member who came in after taking out the trash. He put on gloves without washing his hands first, which I found quite concerning. Additionally, he struggled with communication and was not attentive at all. The food preparation seemed careless, too. I won’t be returning here again. I used to think Subway was inferior to ToGo’s, but now I’m starting to question that belief.

The employee turnover here is high, and I can see why. The person making my sandwich messed up the protein on one of the orders. When I asked him to toast the corrected sandwich, he had the nerve to tell me I should have specified that in my order. I couldn’t believe it! I replied that he should have gotten the order right in the first place. It was a simple request, and now I have to drive back. I’m done with this place; I won't be coming back again.

What struck me most, however, was his perspective on life and the personal choices he has made to pursue a more ambitious path for his future. Our conversation lasted only 5 to 7 minutes, but it was memorable. I truly wish him the best as he navigates his journey toward a fulfilling life. He understands that progress comes one step at a time and seems determined not to settle for anything less than his best. It's clear that someone in the industry should take notice of this young talent. He’s the kind of person that organizations should actively seek out—an individual who is willing to work hard and appreciates the opportunities given to him. He’s one of those rare gems you come across every once in a while, and I believe he could be an invaluable asset to any team. I commend him for his inspiring attitude and the positive energy he brings. Bravo to Fav! As for wheelchair accessibility, the restaurant is equipped to accommodate.
