The place is very nice, it has 2 floors and a terrace and beautiful views of the Nive river or the town hall. It took them about 20 minutes to take note of what we wanted and then 1 hour to serve us the order. In addition, they brought us the bill without having finished serving some desserts. The food was good, the portions are generous, but not as generous as waiting 1 hour. The place was quite full, but we saw people coming in later than us and leaving earlier.

Excellent service and seriously good food. Lovely terrace and very nice restaurant, ideally located in the heart of the old town of Bayonne on the quay side. We went on a Sunday night and the place was pleasantly busy. The atmosphere was lively. Great choice on the menu and daily suggestions . We opted for the 3-course menu at €27. Plenty to choose from the starters to the desserts. The food was delicious and the portions generous. I’d recommend the selection of Bayonne hams as a starter and the marinated pork. That said, the pavé de merlu we saw served at the next table looked fabulous too. As a dessert, go for the gâteau basque. Not too sweet and perfectly moist. All in all, we had a great meal. Highly recommended.

We were served 2 portions of kids chicken nuggets and chips, 1 portion the chicken was raw. No apology, we received another, raw again. No apology. We refused a 3rd option, nevertheless it came out 15 mins later. We were subsequently charged for this raw food, intended for my 8 year old. Needless to say we did not pay for it. No apologies made by any staff. And each time we complained was an inconvenience to the staff.
