Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Baytown

Watch what they're charging you for. Get a reception. If $51 was calculated for 2 plates and 1 tea, this is added an extra $10 that I was not told. So I guess as the cashier told me $41 and changed it to add a $10 tip without authorization.

Food was fine, but in any case the smallest portions I was from all Dickey’s I was too. Not worth the money... will not come back.

About price and just ok food! The portions are small!

This is not totally the fault of Dickey 's, but they bear the responsibility for who they trust to deliver our orders. This was a delivery order, but the receipt had pick up printed on it. The items that I ordered were 1/4 lb sliced brisket, Texas toast, individual baked beans, and a giant baker, with extra of everything. The extras appeared to be just regular portions. The beans are way too spicy. The big problem, however is the brisket being omitted from the order. We were shorted from an important part of the meal. As soon as I discovered the item missing from the list, I immediately contacted Dickey 's to tell them to stop the driver, but they claimed he was already gone. My debit card has been charged $23.73 for two individual sides, and a large potato side. Interestingly, the receipt attached to my bag shows a total charge of $16.21 So, my memory was correct--I HAD ordered the brisket. So, who messed with the register receipt, and why? Why was the brisket removed from my order? Did Dickey 's do it? This is very suspicious. The young man in charge dumped it on me, and refused to give me the DoorDash phone number. I am concerned that scamming is in progress, and I intend to follow up with whoever has a need to know.
