Jason's Deli - Baytown

I was quite disappointed with the Muffuletta sandwich. The bread was overly crunchy and seemed to be over-toasted, while the olive salad spread was decent. However, to my surprise, there was very LITTLE MEAT on the sandwich. At $9 for just half a sandwich and a handful of broken chips, I felt it was not worth it. I took the sandwich home, hoping to salvage it, but it just didn’t work out. I ended up enjoying some of my mom's salad, which was really good; she said her chicken sandwich was just okay. Jason's Deli used to serve generous portions of meat, but that's clearly changed. We've decided to skip this place in the future. If even two older women, who aren't big meat eaters, think there's insufficient meat, you can bet there really isn't much. On a positive note, the restaurant was spotless and the service was quick.

I expected more value for the $13 manager's special. It only included a half sandwich and a cup of soup—not even a bowl. I feel like a drink should have been included for that price. My drink was separate and probably cost over $3. Overall, I just didn't see the value in the meal.

Jason's Deli in Baytown never disappoints! The new manager is incredibly attentive and goes above and beyond to care for the guests. Cory, you're a rock star! I can't wait to visit you all again when I'm in the area, even if I'm coming all the way from Pearland! Keep up the fantastic work! We ordered takeout tonight, and I had the Bigger Better BLT on gluten-free bread. It’s officially my new favorite! Everything was perfectly cooked, from the bacon to the egg, and all the flavors came together beautifully. I can’t wait for my next meal here. I’d give it 10 stars if I could—it was just perfect.
