Nara - Baytown

We always order a side of their veggie egg rolls, but be careful because they pack some heat! On our latest visit, we sampled a dish made with chicken, green beans, and curry paste called Pad Prik King; it strikes a perfect balance of sweet and spicy. I've posted a photo of their mango sticky rice, which is always sweet and delicious. We also tried a dessert called custard, though I can’t quite remember the details, it was delightful, and the lady serving us explained how it was made and its ingredients. Their Thai coffee is refreshing without being overly sweet. I normally don't order iced coffee because I'm not a fan of its flavor, but their iced coffee is unique and worth trying. I intended to write a review after our first visit a year ago because we've consistently had a fantastic experience. The restaurant is clean and has a cozy atmosphere. They cover the tables with large sheets of white paper, perfect for kids to color on, which keeps them entertained. The staff is very friendly and attentive; my husband even spoke with one of the ladies about Thailand, and it made us want to visit one day. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place!

The food was fantastic! I had the Pad Kra Pow with beef and chicken, along with a side of stir-fried noodles, and it was amazing. I requested my dish to have Thai spices, and it was just right—spicy enough to give a nice kick without being overwhelmingly hot. I highly recommend stopping by this restaurant!

You might as well rename the green curry "Steph" because it really made an impact on me. The vegetables were fresh, and the curry itself was perfectly balanced, flavorful, and absolutely delicious.

Love to have lunch here, my favorite is the Tom yum soup with shrimps. Sushi is delicious. Baked rice and stirring vegetables are a good combination for one side. Never been disappointed here.

Our favorite place to eat now. We have gone probably 5 or 6 times in the past month. The pad Thai is amazing. my wife gets it at a zero spice and I get a 3 out of 5. I also love the poor man noodle and most of the desserts. My wife also loves the sushi, especially the cherry blossom. The sampler appetizer is great as well but filled both of us up. The staff recognized my voice after only going a few times when we ordered takeout. Was a nice touch. Couldn't recommend enough!
