River Port Lounge - Beardstown

The food was great, and the atmosphere was enjoyable as well. Who wouldn't appreciate the view of small boats, river bass, and bald eagles from the windows? The only downside was that they might need a second waitress, as ours only managed to visit our table twice—once to take our order for the buffet and once to refill our glasses.

Great food. The waitress was extremely unoriented, scattered. We're back.

Curtis and his family really have a good thing going here, y'all should all go! I stopped in while riding from New Mexico to Michigan, enjoyed better catfish than I've had since growing up in Texas, and was treated to a number of Curtis' stories. Don't let the quiet surrounds keep you away the elevator entrance on the west side of the building leads to only good things!

Great lunch with my wife today. Love looking at the river as we enjoyed our lunch. Also got to watch the humming birds feed right next to table. Great visit with a former colleague Tammy.
