Yes, it was very quiet when we were there earlier this week, but we stayed for one short ice cream evening and one very long night of free range conversation, and were very glad we did. Where else can you give a Black and Tan Coonhound an ear rub as you swill your beer? I myself don't know what makes a dive bar our conversations were pretty literate, so far as I can remember.
