Hayat African Halal - Beaverton

The first time here and love it! The food was so good! Very tasteful and delicious!! It is a sweet little place....restaurant and marketplace inside. You have a little of everything you can buy! Great service!

I hate to leave a bad review because I've never had east African food before. However, I do know that it shouldn't be luke warm. The rice did not taste fresh and the beef.... well.... the texture was out of the ordinary. The sautee chicken sauqaar was heavily seasoned, in my opinion not in a good way. The seating is in the middle of a grocery store. A little awkward when people go in to shop. Customer service was good.

Two words: ah-mazing! Everything was fabulous. I had the coconut curry fish. Don't pass up on the house ginger tea or the sambusas. Thank you for the wonderful service.

New in town, I Came to this place after the Japanese Garden, had big buss down food was smackin Somalia is not to far from Uganda so you know I had to get the chapati/ sombusa and the lamb plate. Food was amazing worth the ride. Also make sure to get some of that Kenyan lemon grass tea fiyah!!! ????????

Abraham and Natasha make the best tasting recipes! The lamb, kofta, beef are so tender and juicy! Great service!
