Woodside Villa - Bechtelsville

My wife and I have been making trips to Woodside for over 20 years, and she recently traveled 30 miles just to enjoy a roasted turkey dinner there. We had stopped visiting for a while after the previous owners took over, as their turkey dinner was quite disappointing, along with the other meals our companions ordered. However, a friend informed us during the Christmas season that the diner had changed hands again, so we decided to give it another shot in the first week of January. I must say, the new owners have significantly improved the turkey dinner, as well as the other dishes our group tried. While the turkey may not be quite as good as what the original owners served, it was definitely good enough to bring us back. The trip is worth it!

I had the worst breakfast experience. The potatoes were as hard as rocks. There were only five people in the diner, but it was freezing inside—no heat at all. The servers were even wearing coats! Meanwhile, other diners nearby were packed.

I must say, the new owners have done a fantastic job with the turkey dinner and the other meals that our group enjoyed. While the turkey might not be as delectable as it was under the original owners, it was still good enough for us to return. The trip is definitely worth it!
