Indiya - Bedford

This is an excellent Indian restaurant with more elegant decor than many others. The attention to detail is impressive, and the staff is attentive. The food is freshly prepared, featuring the perfect balance of spices and sauces. The prawns are cooked to perfection, and the lamb shanks are wonderfully tender. We will definitely return. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience.

We had a wonderful family celebration dinner at Indiya. The food was delightful, fresh, and expertly prepared. The atmosphere was just right—tranquil and sophisticated—while the service was both professional and courteous. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience!

Visited on Thursday 1 July 2021. Had booked a table, but didn't need to. Food was excellent. Shared the Fresh Salmon Cakes and Fushkas for starters. Never seen Fushkas before, but they were very good. I will look out for them on the menu. Had the Moghul Chicken for my main. My wife had the King Prawn Balti. For some unknown reason, we were the only customers in the restaurant, so we were able to have a long chat with the owner, who was forthcoming about the struggles of running a restaurant during the pandemic. Thoroughly enjoyable evening. The staff were friendly and efficient. The decor is nice, with the fish tank making an interesting centrepoint. Will definitely visit again when I am next in Bedford.

Such a nice place to eat out! The food was lovely! Tried lots of new things. Staff were lovely. Definitely the kind of place to go if youre having a date night
