Mario's Fish And Chips - Bedford

I visit this place and I am from bedford and its the best food you can get on the high street for quick fresh food. What does make me laugh is people moan about the place at 2am in the morning when they are the rudest drunks ever and wonder why the staff from marios have the hump. The food is fresh it’s always hot. I am sorry to say if it wasn’t there enjoy eating the ice out your freezer.

I decided to write this review for the business to acknowledge that bad customer service leads to a loss in return in your customer base. I visited the vicinity just to grab something quick for lunch, just some chips and their brilliant chilli sauce that they do one of the best in Bedford. Every time I am served by the lady I find that when I request for the sauce on the chips she puts on the most minuscule amount possible. On this occasion I went back and requested a bit more sauce over the chips and her reply was that there were other customers in the store and that I was not the only person to serve. She also made me feel stupid by saying the box was upside down and that the sauce was on the bottom. I showed her the chips and that there was hardly any sauce anywhere and if I could have a little bit more. She then added sauce which was a few drops more and I told her that this would be the last time I was coming here I will now be going elsewhere. I felt this was absolutely the worst customer service displayed in my lifetime. She was very rude and had a face on like she was going to box me. The owner mario is very friendly, helpful and every time he serves I find that he gives extra sauce and goes above and beyond in his customer service. This lady is bringing down your business I can see by the negative reviews left on here that majority of them are with regards to her foul attitude. For this reason I will no longer be returning and will actively discourage others from doing so as well. I am a regular customer and have bought food from here many times, which has now been tainted by this experience. My family and friends will no longer be visiting here either and I will make sure to mention to go elsewhere for fish and chips.

I typically only visit this restaurant at 2am after a night out, but the food is always good and you can find a seat if you come at the right time. It can get crowded and there may be a wait, but the staff is always friendly and the pizza and chips are consistently delicious.

The food at Mario's restaurant can only be compared to low-quality dog food. It is disgusting and always leaves me feeling sick the next day. The staff are rude and unprofessional, with the man liking inappropriate pictures on Twitter and the woman appearing unkempt and abrasive. The restaurant itself is shabby, with cheap furniture and a lack of maintenance. The bouncer is intimidating until he speaks with a high-pitched voice. This is possibly the worst place to eat in Bedford, if not all of England. It is surprising that they have not been shut down for their poor hygiene standards. If you enjoy food poisoning and unsanitary conditions, then Mario's is the place for you.

I cannot believe how badly they messed up the chips at this restaurant. They were absolutely disgusting. The mayonnaise was so lumpy, it looked like a leper's face.
