Bidra med feedbackThe food and the service were exactly what I was looking for! I haven't had the whole menu yet. Hoping to do that before the year is out!
Here its about flavour, taste, hospitality atmosphere. Great steak house, they surely know about meat! And the best ribs ever! For once in Mauritius I was served a medium rare just as it should be. We had several dishes, everything was top quality, served by a polite/friendly waiter, we also appreciated the coffee. I wasn't surprised to find out that the owner is Gerard Samouillan, a Master in top quality meat and hospitality. Glad to see him again after so many years. Always with a twist of humour. Thank you for keeping the level high.
Seriously the best steak ive had across continents..the chef knows the meats and cooks to perfection… loved the prawns,the fish fillet and the calamari as well(just done right and not over at all,great sauces too… but that steak…was divine.. the server was a gracious and helpful lady and while we initially felt the food was priced high,after the experience,it felt very apt for this high quality and taste.. highly recommended if you make a stop at rouisseau creole.
Such a great steakhouse. Had an awesome steak cooked perfectly. The onion rings are a great add on. Even the puddings were on point. All in all an amazing dinner had by all. Definitely worth a visit.
Waiting an hour for food to arrive is simply unacceptable, regardless of the reason. It was clear that the restaurant was both overbooked and understaffed, as I noticed many customers expressing their frustration with the long wait. While the food was delicious, it's a shame we ended up having dinner close to 10 PM.
