Horse's Mouth Tavern - Belding

Met a friend there for lunch and few drinks on a weekday. I was surprised they weren't any busier because the food was very good and delivered pretty quickly. There were a few other groups that came and went while we were there and a couple guys who had called ahead and had their food brought out as soon as they sat down. They have an outstanding draft beer selection, with a large, easy to read list. It included a description, cost, brewery and the ABV for each beer. There was one gal running the bar and waiting tables and she did both very effectively and was very personable. The owner(I assume) came to our table and was very friendly and knowledgeable of craft beers. I like the open layout and like many breweries/pubs, it has a bit of an industrial look to it.

I was given a gift card from the owners for Teacher Appreciation Day since their children attend our school. My husband and I decided to stop in and give it a try even though it isn't close to home. From the outside we were a bit skeptical, but once we entered we loved the decor, wide open yet very welcoming. The owner and waitress both made us feel very welcomed. There were not many people there for it being lunch hour which still confuses me. The craft beer selection was extensive and the menu gave us enough selection to choose from. My husband had a chicken sandwich and still comments how fresh the sandwich was, one of the best he has ever had. I had one of the wraps. It was very well made, full of great ingredients. The homemade chips were also amazing! Prices were also very reasonable. If we lived closer, this would become a regular stop for us.

BEST olive burger in the area!! We were on the fence after a couple of unfortunate times going. But after RAVE reviews from all of our closest friends, we decided to try it again. We are not craft beer people but we enjoy grabbing a burger and playing some pool on a regular basis now.

New to town and already found our favorite place! We showed up in the middle of the day with a surprise group of 8 (including a toddler never knowing what to expect) and we were seated and taken care of promptly. Awesome service, awesome drinks, and even more awesome food. Love the atmosphere, easy 5 stars!

Love their tap selection and the owners are great.. They could use a bit wider and better food selection, but otherwise 2 thumbs up!
