This café was so good I went back instead of trying a new place when I was in Belfast! They had a very nice sweet potato and coconut soup with bread for 4.95, and a yum bowl for 5.95. The yum bowl was vegetarian and very filling I didn't have dinner that night. (Ask the staff about it if you go! They also had quite generously portioned tray bakes for 1.95 that you can check out when you go in the door! They have a lovely system in place of paying forward a cup of coffee/tea or a bowl of soup for someone in need, if you wish to do so. If you would like to buy somebody a coffee or soup, just let them know when you pay your bill.
Today I had the best coffee I’ve ever tasted and if that wasn’t enough, the staff of common grounds were all the most wonderful people who will go out of their way to ensure you have the best possible experience while you visit. It is clear to see the love that the staff have for this café, as soon as you enter you can almost feel the happy vibes that radiate from each member of staff. The yum bowl is precise in its name as it is YUMMY, definitely recommend trying it!! I can’t wait for my next visit to common grounds (which will be very soon) for another great experience.
Common grounds was great! Food was really good. We got a sausage roll and a cinnamon bun. The coffee was fab too! Will be coming back :
