Diwali Mahal - Belgrade

During our week-long stay in Serbia, we visited two other restaurants before discovering this hidden gem that served authentic Indian cuisine. Not only did they serve delicious Indian dishes, but they also had the rare offering of masala chai. The portion sizes and food quality were excellent at this establishment.

During our trip to Belgrade, we decided to try Indian cuisine and found the only Indian restaurant open on Monday. Despite our initial hesitation, we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and had a wonderful atmosphere. The food was incredibly delicious and authentic Indian. We highly recommend this restaurant!

The food was delicious and it was a wonderful surprise to experience such great Indian flavors. The chef even assisted me in booking a taxi on my first visit. Thank you!

Really tasty food and they easily and happily accomodated me as a vegan. There are great options on the menu. The waiter even came back after we ordered to make sure if we were ordering just my main dish as vegan or also the paratha and samosa and then adjusted them to be fried without butter; an extra step I appreciated and that shows they really care about their customers. Oh and did I say the food was amazing!
