Mei Dong Garden - Belle Plaine

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The chicken was dry and tough, and the breading was overcooked and burned, despite being labeled as sesame seed chicken. I ended up throwing it away; what a waste of money! The two thin slices of broccoli were wilted and seemed old. The egg rolls were overly greasy, making me suspect that the kitchen might not be clean and could definitely use a new chef. I will never go back again.

Terrible dining experience. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The chicken was dry and tough, and the breading around it was burnt and hard, all soaked in a sauce that I can only describe as sesame seed chicken. I’m not even sure what I was eating. The broccoli was thin, wilted, and appeared quite old. The egg rolls were heavy and greasy, which makes me suspect that the kitchen is not clean and could use a new chef. I won’t be returning.
