Bidra med feedbackI stopped by this restaurant to satisfy my craving for Indian food, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. The place is quite straightforward—ordering is done at the counter, and you receive plastic utensils and paper plates. The dishes are served in paper containers. The cuisine is Northern Indian/Punjabi, and everything is prepared fresh to order. I tried the saag aloo, aloo gobi, and dal maharani, and all of them were delicious. They also have a vegan section on the menu. I’ll certainly be returning!
After weeks of craving Indian cuisine, I finally had the chance to dine at Desi Tadka, and it truly satisfied my hunger. We ordered roti, Aloo Gobhi, and Kala Chana Curry (which I believe was a chickpea dish). While the potato and veggie dish was tasty, the chickpea dish was bursting with flavor. The portion sizes were generous, providing enough food for two, with some leftovers to take home. The staff member was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about vegan options, assisting me with my order. Our food arrived quickly, and they offered a thoroughly labeled vegan menu. I can’t stop thinking about that chickpea dish; I really miss it! A quick note: all food is served in disposable (mostly paper) containers, and the parking lot is somewhat small.
This is my absolute favorite Indian grill. Everything I've tried here over the past year has been delicious, fresh, and perfectly spiced. While the menu is primarily vegetarian, there are plenty of vegan options available as well. You can't miss out on their bread—it's a must-try!
