Tastee Rolls - Bellwood

We have lived in the area for 11 years and recently stumbled upon this hidden gem. They prefer cash payment but also accept credit cards (with a small 4% service fee). We tried three egg rolls - jerk, Philly steak, and veggie. While they were a bit small, the flavors were bold. The standout was the Philly steak egg roll. The wings were crispy and delicious, especially the hot buffalo and mango habanero flavors. The mango habanero sauce took it to the next level with its layers of flavor. Our food took about 20 minutes to arrive, which was reasonable. We will definitely be returning to support this local spot and highly recommend it. Thank you, Alicia, for the great service!

The prices are increasing, but the food is still delicious. It may be a little hard on the wallet, but it's worth it. I would come back here multiple times if I could.

I ordered 2 jerk chicken rolls, 2 Italian beef rolls, 2 gyro rolls, and 1 small jerk chicken nacho. The rolls were decent, but I was especially looking forward to trying the jerk chicken nachos, which were supposed to come with onion, bell pepper, cheese, spicy giardiniera, lettuce, and sour cream. However, when I got home, I discovered that my nachos only had meat, cheese, and hot peppers. It was a letdown.

I stopped by for chop steak sandwich and it was undone with stale fries. Definitely need to change their grease and the man behind the counter was not informative at all and didn’t change his gloves after handling money and touching the register. He kept the same gloves on.Food: 1/5
