I recently visited Dickey's Garbage-Q Pit, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. **Brisket:** It was dry with no smoke flavor and lacked any seasoning. Very disappointing. **Pulled Pork:** It was similar to the brisket — bland and tasted like it had simply been baked in the oven with some salt and pepper sprinkled on afterward. Quite sad. **Chicken Breast:** Again, it was dry and topped with an undesirable sauce that didn't help. Extremely disappointing. **Baked Beans:** Simply canned Bush's beans. Nothing more to say. Sad. **Green Beans:** Out of a can, loaded with salt and pepper. Really disappointing. **Potato Salad:** Just mustard and potatoes — that’s it. **Pecan Pie:** What did I expect? It was store-bought. I paid $28.87 for this meal, and it truly reflects the saying, "you get what you pay for." However, I shouldn’t have received such poor food. I’ve had better meals while serving in the Navy. On top of that, the restaurant floor was dirty, and the bathroom smelled of urine with no soap available. I urge you, do not visit this establishment for BBQ! The health department should consider shutting them down.

I ordered two plates of brisket along with coleslaw, beans, a Coke, and a brownie, but unfortunately, the coleslaw was spoiled. I was really disappointed since that was what I was craving. Out of everything, the packed brownie was the only decent item. Even the Coke was flat. Overall, the meal was quite expensive and left a lot to be desired. I even tried to improve the flavor with some sauce, but it was still terrible.

My family and I dined at Dickey's last night at 5:30, and we had a fantastic experience. The staff member at the checkout, Pit, and his colleague were exceptional. Despite the busy atmosphere, including drive-thru orders, they handled our large order with great efficiency and care. We were quite hungry as a family of six, but they remained polite and professional throughout our visit. I truly felt they went above and beyond, providing exemplary customer service. I hope management acknowledges what valuable team members they have!

The food here is consistently excellent, and the staff is amazing. The average cost per person is between $20 and $30. I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.
