Bidra med feedbackI was really excited to try this place because I've read so great things about it. I have made a reservation for the birthday of my mother, but I am not at all clear why they take reservations. it came first, served first and find her own table. they also have no server; they put their order on the counter, they bring their meal, and they get their own drinks. I was disappointed when the man on the theke (sayed he was the owner's son) did not know the difference between the baked hull option or the smoked hull option for the chicken cordon bleu sandwich. I have chosen the baked option. it was a very thin (like really thinner) baked patty. of course it didn't cost homemade. it was also served with a splatter of BBQ sauce. on the chicken Cordon-Bleu... strangest thing ever. it didn't taste bad, but it wasn't something I would order again. I decided to garnish the parmesan that they were in order, but again very disappointed that the parmesan was used, the powdered art was the least pleasing of all parmesans. my man was kind to share a bit of his dick with bbq sauce from his sandwich and it was really good. I'd order the next time in a definitiw. he also chose the mac and the cheese as a side that he allowed me a taste, it was pretty good. I have heard that her main rib is great and I have the bite of my man's meal he allowed me to have. so that I definitely care about going back. obviously they shine with their bbq... which is good because their chicken cordon bleu should be removed or reworked from the menu.
A delightful evening in what could initially be called strange. the music (rexdon) is very inclusive, fun, easy to hear and good to tempo. until the music is over (6 8 o'clock on certain free days) the whole place is filled with friends. we enjoyed the ribs twice; next time we go for the prime rib. it looked fantastic!
We were told about the last Friday of Month music with rex and don, so we went to check it. it was a lovely evening. we enjoyed the grill ribs that were excellent, but the comfortable, easy-going nature of the place was the surprise. no grouchy cook here, you can say that. only people enjoy themselves. the waiting staff was polite and not intrusive and seemed as good as the diners to enjoy. about the music, it was just perfect for the stage. a little bit more banished, beautiful vocal harmonies, precise arrangements, variety in song selection and instrumentation. this place is a well kept secret. Maybe I shouldn't have said so much!
I was disappointed when the man at the counter—who claimed to be the owner's son—didn't know the difference between the baked and smoked chicken options for the chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich. I opted for the baked chicken, but it turned out to be incredibly thin, almost unappetizing, and definitely not homemade. To top it off, it was served with a rather strange splash of BBQ sauce on it. The flavor wasn’t bad, but it’s not something I would choose again. I also tried the Parmesan garlic cloves, which were okay, but I was let down by the use of powdered Parmesan—definitely not the best quality. On the bright side, my husband kindly let me have a bite of his BBQ pig sandwich, and it was excellent. I would definitely order that next time. He also picked the mac and cheese as a side, which I sampled as well; it was pretty good. I've heard that their prime rib is outstanding, so I'm eager to return to give that a try. It seems their strength lies in BBQ, which is great because the chicken Cordon Bleu either needs to be taken off the menu or revamped entirely.
We had a lovely evening that began with a sense of unfamiliarity. The music (RexDon) was lively, engaging, and just the right volume to enjoy while chatting. By the time the music wrapped up (around 6 or 8 PM on select Fridays), the atmosphere felt warm and friendly, as if we were all friends. We tried the ribs twice and enjoyed them both times; next visit, we’re definitely going for the main rib, which looked incredible!
