Krua Khao Jaow Thai - Bendigo

We stopped here while driving through the Loire Valley touring chateaus.

This is basically a sports bar that serves Italian food Service was not good, but we did enjoy our pizza.

I came here on the advice of my Rick Steves book after seeing the chateau immediately above the restaurant.

This was our first time eating in at Krua, usually we get take away. The welcome we always get on arrival is great! The food is so delicious! And the cost is fantastic. Big thanks for having us!

While it mightn't have the most flash setting, being in part of an unused pub, this Thai food is delicious, fresh and authentic. It was recommended by a Thai friend as being the best Thai in Bendigo. Waitresses are just lovely and SO friendly. Food is reasonably priced. No bells and whistles, just good, decent food.
