El Primo Plaza - BENSALEM

This is the best authentic Mexican restaurant in the area, possibly even in all of Philadelphia. The entrance might look a bit unassuming since it shares space with a supermarket and bakery, but once you step inside, you truly feel like you're in Mexico. The prices are reasonable, and often cheaper than at other Mexican restaurants, so don't expect any odd surprises.

This place is fantastic! It was my first time visiting, but I already plan to return. The food is delicious, and there are wonderful shops and a bakery. You'll leave with so much more than just a full stomach!

This place is a gem. You want authentic Mexican fare from baked goods to groceries, this is the palace. If that isn't enough their food is out for this world. My job goes here for lunch sometimes and when they do it's such a happy day in the office. I highly recommend getting their stone bowl with grilled steak, chicken, shrimp, and cactus....chef's kiss it's soo good. Their rice and beans is some of the best I e tatted alongside the special sauce that comes with their stone bowl and their Verde salsa the smells from this place when you walk in are intoxicating! The bakery is mouth watering. Please do yourself a favor and check out this Street Road treasure!!

I go there for seas of smile and the last time I went to the Mexican shop and oh my goodness I can't believe I never knew about this place and it's size!!! It has everything! It brought my childhood back! It has a small restaurant where I can't wait to try! Also milkshakes, donuts, candy to dolls, a small Mexican grocery store! This place is a hidden jewel!

I absolutely love coming here for the bread! It’s consistently excellent! However, I do wish they would stop serving older bread and focus on fresh options, especially if the older ones aren’t selling well. Customers like me always return for that delicious bread! The grocery selection is great, and the restaurant menu is quite impressive too, featuring some really tasty Mexican tacos. My only complaint is that the staff could be a bit friendlier; they often seem to respond with an attitude, especially at the cash register, which makes it feel like they don’t want to help. Nonetheless, I will definitely continue coming back for the bread!
