Guido's Steaks - BENSALEM

Let me start by saying that I arrived 15-20 minutes before closing time. I pulled up in my car, walked up to the door, and asked if they knew where I could get a good cheese steak. I told them I understood if they didn't want to cook so close to closing, but the lady and man working insisted on making one for me. They were both very kind and willing to help, and the kitchen staff, who were finishing up for the night, prepared a huge cheese steak for me. After paying for my order, I had to run back to my car to check on my child. In less than 3 minutes, they brought the sandwich out to me. They didn't have to do that, which I thought was really nice. The sandwich I ordered was colossal - I got a half portion and it easily fed two people. The full sandwich was two feet long and could feed four. The bread was sturdy with a crisp crust and a soft interior, which held up well with the juicy meat and melted cheese. The meat was finely ground with a bold, well-seasoned flavor - no bland bites here. The cheese I chose was delicate, hot, and creamy. I would give this place 5 stars - even though it wasn't exactly to my personal taste, it was still fantastic. The differences in the meat preparation, broth preferences, and size of the sandwich may not be for everyone, but I urge you not to overlook this cheese steak.

I was randomly in the opposite where guidos steaks is on a Sunday and decided to find a place for a quick bite. I'm so glad I found guido on google maps. we order a whole (24 inches) cheese steak that was surprisingly huge and loaded with bark! it was very delicious. what made me feel at home was that the place had a Brooklyn meeting philly thema. the buchgrat and the new utrecht station signs were known to see. as it turned out, the owners from my hometown were nersonhurst!

The staff at the restaurant was very friendly and the atmosphere was very clean. However, the food was just okay. I gave it a 3 out of 5 rating because it was a bit expensive. I don't mind paying more for exceptional food. I'm not sure if I would go back, as nothing really stood out except for the high prices. It reminded me of Curley's in Levittown, but not as good.
