Tempo

Our server was Sam. She was very good. She did seem new, but if we had questions she was able to get the answers for us. The oysters were excellent very clean. Their potstickers are always a great go to. The paella was just OK. Not a lot of flavor and the rice had a different consistency than paella we are used to. The lobster roll was very bland. The barbecue chicken and ribs were incredible. Tempo is a great place for various types of food. You do have to check the menu frequently as it does change.  we usually sit out the bar however last night we were seated in the dining room. No fault of the establishment or the waitress but we had a party of eight little kids and five parents who just were not watching their children at all. They were running back-and-forth being loud and not being supervised. It did not ruin our experience. It just made it very loud

Server didn't know how to respond when my friend said her meal was bad. Instead he offered her another drink. A bridal shower was 2 tables over and was too loud. They should have been seated in a private room. Bar ran out of ingredient to make one of our drinks. Big disappointment.

The Pretzel is a great starter, as well as the pot stickers. I am always on the lookout for the Shepherd's Pie but is only a seasonal dish. Meanwhile, the Meatloaf is great and the salads are excellent. When ordering from the Bar as for Jake as your bartender. He is a master mixologist.

I hadn't eaten at Tempo for many years, primarily because I found the noise level too loud. I decided to try them again, as they are a local business and had gotten good reviews on line. I was pleased to find the noise level much improved, probably due to acoustic tiles and drapery. The meal experience was great. The cocktail I ordered was made to perfection. The service was impeccable, the waiter was attentive, but not intrusive. The food was very good. I ordered the pan seared scallops with risotto, delicious, but a little too salty. My companion ordered the Caesar salad with an impressive and tasty chicken breast. The sour dough bread that we ordered was delicious (evidently made by 2 local boys)! All in all, a memorable evening!

Food was delicious and cocktails and wine recommendation was great. There was a bit of a lag in service, which might have been due to understaffing? Will definitely be back.
