Great breakfast, fast friendly service. You know it's a good place if there's a round table with a bunch of old people who drink coffee and shoot the ****. This place had 2 round tables. So go in and pull up a chair. Catch to the local gossip and have a good meal.

Wanted to try local foods lately and stopped at Dan's for Saturday lunch. I ordered chicken fried steak but on Saturday they didn't serve anything but breakfast, sandwiches and salads. So I ordered chicken fried steak with scrambled eggs, hash browns and biscuit and gravy for $9.99. I had time to wander the restaurant to look at all the memorabilia and old pictures before my lunch was served. Everything was hot and delicious. Eggs were fluffy. Biscuit was light and fluffy. Gravy was not as peppery as I like but good. Chicken fried steak stayed hot the entire meal. Great service and friendly staff.

Excellent food. Cooked fast but tasted delicious. My favorite is the skillet potatoes. The service was extremely friendly. I will be back.

I thought I was heading to a typical local diner, but I was completely mistaken! The food was fantastic and presented beautifully. Our server was incredibly attentive, filling my water glass five times in just 15 minutes without even being asked. It’s a simple 5 stars for me!
