Au 1900 - Berck

Despite the awful weather we braved Berck and were delighted to find this place down the main street situated just off the seafront. 3 adults and an 10 year old so we went for the moules, traditional and 1 course wit the local cheese "maroilles" which was 1st class. Service was swift and courteous and food came out very quickly. No puddings sampled however 4 mains and drinks came to 56euros which was a bit more than we normally pay for lunch but quality made up for price.If the weather had been better then we would have sat outside where the seating area can be covered or uncovered. Nous sommes venus à deux reprises, nous avons pris un welch excellent la première fois, la deuxième fois des moules le repas était très bon malgré du sable dans les moules ; les toilettes sont également très malodorantes et il n'y avait pas de savon pour se laver les mains

L accueil est sympathique mais la cuisine laisse à désirer .Je déconseille fortement le poisson insipide et trop cuit .

I went to this restaurant with my family (spouse and three kids), the quality is not as expected when reading their published menu outside. I prdered a plat du jour (steak with vegetables) and I was shocked when I saw a canned green beans in stead of fresh ones, I also ordered an oven coocked potatoes and I was double shocked when seeing a canned salty potatoes.Hint: be care before entering and ask for their ingredients.

Un welchs qui tient au corps!!, das un cadre très "1900", le serveur se débrouille très bien en anglais.
