Consistently good and guaranteed freshly made on site.Any rice noodle roll on the menu is yummy, if you don’t know how to choose, start with Shrimp Roll and Chinese Dough Roll(炸两), one classic, one Hong Kong local’s favorite.Congee here is also a hidden gem. Fresh ingredients, smooth texture, and the time investment you can taste.Dim sum is always kid’s favorite. Shrimp dumplings and steamed buns are classic. Be mindful here dim sum is factory made frozen-resteam kind, not in house fresh type.
The driver made excuses in not being able to deliver to my door. Recovering from shoulder surgery, I had to direct the driver to the right location. Handed my food to my only available hand and then not open the door to my building. Leaving my to drop my food to open my building door.
Overall I won’t be returning since there are many other dim sum spots in the area that are worlds better. The food lacks flavor and everything is served in single use plastic bowls. Service was good and the people that work here are nice but that does not supplement for a mediocre meal.
Soooo yummy, their food is amazing taste and super affordable!! Only $30 for 3 people eating. Very nice staff, and cute interior!
The congee was how my grandmother would cook it and the garlic chicken wings had much garlic flavor. So very tasty!!! I hope/plan to become a regular : I am slowly going through their menu. This evening I had the shrimp and wonton noodle soup. Another winner!!!This place wins hands down as my favorite Chinese restaurant in Berkeley:
