Akiko Sushi - Berlin

Came here on a Saturday night without reservations but thankfully got one of the last tables outside. This place doesn't look like it would be popular but it was bumping! Everything I had was pretty good except the mushroom Maki which wasn't that good but still fine. My friend also got gyoza which were surprisingly good! As far as for ambiance...well let's say the affordable prices justify it. The menu cards have seen better days, the tables and chairs outside are a mix-and-match between cheap plastic chairs and old wooden tables and the service is not exceptional. Still though, good sushi, very fair prices and you don't wait long at all for the food to arrive.

I visited Akiko Sushi for dinner at ordered some inside out roll with eel and avocado, maki with salmon skin and a genmai cha. All it all it was good and delicious but nothing extraordinary. One thing I didn't like was the fact that the rice of my inside out roll was quite loose and fell apart while I ate it. I mean it was still delicious (the eel was so soft and tender YUM! but I'm used to different sushi. The salmon skin maki on the other hand was alright. The waiter were all friendly but slightly disoriented. They needed some time until I could order but to be fair: it was very crowded. Well... Since this place is super cheap I should give it 4 stars but I just can't. I am used to better sushi and better places and I am not sure if I will return here. Not because it's bad but it's quite far off from my place and I already have my favourite suhsi restaurants. If you are near by: Yeah why not! You won't regret it but you won't miss anything if you go elsewhere.

Really super lecker! I'm always going to this place for sushi. T4 on the menu is good, also number 22 and inside out rollen with real crab meet. The staff is always fast, nice and well organised.

Perfektes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, etwas voll aber trotzdem sehr sehr guter Service und gutes Sushi. Gern immer wieder.

Der sushiladen war mal ein geheimtipp - ich hatte 2-3 mal sushi bestellt und war zufrieden - die sushi waren ok und frisch.das ambiente ist inzwischen eine mischung aus neukölner neonatmosphäre und überfüllter kantine - hat nichts mit japanischer sauberkeit, höflichkeit oder perfektion zu tun. service und wartezeiten sind nicht akzeptabel - von meiner seite nie wieder.
