Bidra med feedbackThe very few good points first, the naan was well done with plenty of garlic and the bengan (brinjal) was cooked down enough. That's it I'm afraid. Don't be fooled be the smell and the appetising looking dishes you'll see walking past, the truth is it's some of the worst food I've eaten, unsure if that's because they've tried to tailor it to the German palate, or because I'm particularly discerning about Indian food or it's just badly done. The bengan dish I ordered was billed as very hot and there was not a single chilli in my bowl, it was on par with a korma, furthermore, it came out way, way to quick and as a result the sauce seemed to be the exact same as my girlfriends dish which she then verified, a jalfrezi should not taste anything like a vindaloo. The chicken she said was the worst chicken she had ever tasted, it was watery and definitely not fresh, was abandoned, almost in its entirety on the side of her plate. This was all coupled with some of the waitstaff acting as if we were an inconvenience, and being the last meal of our trip left us both feeling extremely disappointed and ripped off. €29 for naan, rice, 2 curries and 2 fantas.Absolutely, 100%, avoid.
Food at Amber is cheap. But actually to cheap to be good. The quality is inferior and the service is friendly but inattentive. Don't waste a night out here.
I ordered a starter plate...I have never eaten such a disgusting food! It came already after 5 minutes and was just fried pieces with some indefinable stuffing and some ketchup. Everything for 8,00EUR!!! When I complained at the boss he didn´t even excuse. Please don´t go there even if they offer very cheap cocktails (not tasty at all)!
The food was okay, but the service was terrible. At all times I felt like the waiter was annoyed by my presence.
Bad food and bad service in one sentence. They used at least one month old frozen chicken for the food I've ordered. If you want to eat Indian food from Berlin then there are better alternatives.
