We were looking for a nice outdoor place for a birthday breakfast in Neukoln and it was a shame we settled for Cafe Rix. The venue itself is attractive but we waited more than 40 minutes for a vegetarian breakfast. When we arrived we asked to see an English menu and it felt like the waitress flung it on the table and walked off. We got our coffees within 10 minutes but then waited at least half an hour for the food. The plate was simply bread, cheese and fruit so we could not understand why it took so long to arrive. The orange juice was not fresh and the coffee wasn't great either. Not sure why this place has gotten good reviews before.
