Bidra med feedbackAs close to an American bagel as I've gotten in Berlin -- by leaps and bounds. And truly, they are great. Good atmosphere to sit with food and drink surrounded by books. Only hang up is that they have odd hours for wifi...I usually pick up a few bagels to take home with some of their house made creamcheese*Carrot cake is a must
Glorious tasting bagels. I'd recommend bagel called Meshka for a good salmon experience. A minor drawback is that I had to wait quite a long time to order a bagel, but the staff was friendly and eager to help find a perfect bagel.
I like this place that is a mix between a bar and a book shop. Moreover is one of the few places in Friedrichshain where you can have a nice coffee and work some hour with the computer.
I visited this cafe twice a week, because i have their meeting with my english teacher for 1,5-2 hours. Normally I bought 2 coffee, bagel and some dessert. Some times I did it in the beginning, some time in the middle and some times in the end of our lessons. At last Friday, we come there as usual and began our lessons. Suddenly some one began to say behind my ear! I was scared! It was the administrator (The man with dark hear). He saw that we sitting without drinks/food and he became rude to ask why we are sitting here. We said the true: Learning. He said that we can't do it there. It was because we didn't bought in in the beginning! He scared us and was unfriendly. And we are Clients. I was there a regular customer at the cafe for 1,5 month. And what I got for it?! This man thinking that he is the KING of this cafe? It was really unpleasant. And that was the last time I visited this cafe!
Full of hipster nob-ends. Drink was nice though. Would recommend if you were outside and thirsty.....
