Bidra med feedbackThe Mango Lassi is stunning. Flavours in general are authentic but the matter panir that I had was not spicy enough for my taste buds. It would be a good idea then to mention to staff if you like your food spicier. The breads, I had a garlic Nan and my friends had Puri's, are very good, the Puri's especially good.Staff are friendly and helpful and speak English. We arrived early evening around 6pm and by the time we left at 8pm the place was packed out so a good idea to book in advance.
A little restaurant with typical indian food on the menu. Very friendly staff. Almost all the dishes are served on a sizling plate which can turn the little restaurant into a steamy hot place. You definitely need to change clothes after visiting. The food was really good, not overspiced and the wine was ok.
Very nice food, felt authentic. I had s hot dish...and MAN! it was hot! Very tasty though. My husband had butter chicken that was softer tasting, but also very nice. WOULDN'T recommend the Indian wine!!! Waiter was real nice and effective, even though the place was very busy. I'd def. go there again!
This is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Small, not-touristy, with very friendly English speaking staff (all Indians). I used to live just next to it for over three years, so I was visiting it very frequently. I think so far between 2010 and 2014 I visited it at least 30 times, and I never left disappointed.Meals are very tasty and authentic in taste, and the prices of main courses starting just from 5€! They are serving really huge amounts of delicious rice, and if you want more of it, you will get it for free. And their Mango Lassi drink if out-of-this world experience. :)My best recommendation to anyone in Berlin, looking for not expensive, but tasty Indian cuisine!
To an English curry enthusiast, the dishes served here may have the same names that we are used to but what you get bears no similarity to what we know and love. I had a Mutton Jalfrezi and what came was completely bland dish with...the meat covered in a pinky thick soupy sauce that was like thickened tomato soup. no heat in it whatsoever. My friend ordered a Vindaloo, which was similar. Very disappointing. Similarly the poppadom starters were weird, flat uninteresting discs that had no lightness . The naan bread didn't come till half way through the meal, and had to be requested three times. On the plus side, toilets were OK, and nobody had stomach probs the next day. Price was reasonable/low.
