Home Plate Diner - Bessemer

I went for the first time today and had baked chicken breast, Mac cheese, purple hull bears and corn bread. It was all very good. I liked the Mac cheese especially. The chicken was good and the corn bread had a sweet taste that was really good. Everyone was very friendly, fast and the place was clean and all right.

I really like home plate diner when I'm at work. It is the closest to home cooking I can get when away from home. Food is always good and you just got to have a piece of the peanut butter pie. My only complaint is they only have yams 2 days a week. More yams please.

Fabulous food friendly servers and fast. Good home town place to eat. New stop when I am in this area.

I love the veggies. Food is prepared and presented in clean area in cafe.
