El Mezcal Mexican - Bethalto

This is the best Mexican food I've had outside of Mexico. In fact, some dishes are even better than what you find in Mexico. The flavors are truly authentic. The service is excellent, and the prices are so reasonable that you might be tempted to eat there every day—believe me, I've tried! The street tacos on Taco Tuesday are served street-style and are fantastic.

We've always had great experiences here! The staff is exceptional; they remember your name and even know your favorite dishes and drinks. The food is fresh, quick, and consistently delicious!

The service at this restaurant was excellent, with the staff providing top-notch customer care. I really enjoyed the carnitas tacos made with the corn tortillas. I requested cilantro and onions instead of pico de gallo, and even though they didn’t make that change, the tacos were still delicious. The only thing I would have preferred is if the tacos had come with rice instead of just beans. But that’s just my opinion—overall, I loved this place!

In my opinion, they have the best service around the food is great the atmosphere is amazing.
