Lucky Town Thai Kitchen - Beverly Hills

Lucky Town Thai chicken is a great little takeaway restaurant in the heart of Beverly Hills.

I have been eating at this restaurant for quite a few years with my family...Always good food and quick serviceMain complaints are its very hot inside on a hot day, I wish they would use their Aircon on the wall.... I'm talking 38 degrees at 6PM and still no aircon?? Also service could be a little better. No personality...

We came across this place by accident after our usual take away Thai place closed down for renovations. LUCKY we found it because it's unassuming from the outside and we've never eaten in, only had take away but the food is DELICIOUS!! Highly recommend.

My partner and I visited Lucky Town Thai Kitchen at lunch time on Sunday 19/04/2015.The Menu stated that items not with an asterisk next to them were available at lunch time for $7.50 each.We ordered an entrée and two mains with no asterisks adjacent to the entry.The servings were quite small, but consistent with a lunch time specials menu.Unfortunately, the beef served was so chewy that it was impossible to eat, so we contented ourselves to eat the vegetables only from that dish, and to enjoy the chicken dish, which was our second main dish choice.The last straw in our experience, and the reason that I decided to write a review, is that when it came time to pay, we were charged the full price for the dishes, and not the lunch time specials price.When I enquired about this, I was advised that we were served full size meals.If that is so, then I think that the lunch time special should be reserved for purchase exclusively by mice.Also, a hand written list of dishes sold, which was on the counter, seemed to list our order with lunch time specials prices next to the names of the dishes which we had ordered.We were disappointed enough to be served beef that was not palatable, but quite angry to be overcharged, in our opinion, for a sub standard meal.

I visited this place over 9 years. The same person always served us. Always return whenever we are nearby. I generally come for lunch. Not the best but always constant and eatable food.
