Bidra med feedbackBe careful with their Chinese and local language menu. The PRICE in Chinese is generally HIGHER than local language menu. I am an Asian visitor and went to their restaurant. An Asian waiter or their boss) let me order the dishes with Chinese menu. But I asked for local language menu. At the beginning, he told me that the fired beef noodle was showing on Chinese menu only. But I insisted in looking into local language menu. I managed to find the beef noodle on the local menu. Turns out he got angry and spoke loudly at me. And he even made excuse that the local language menu is only for takeaway so 3 CHF cheaper... They are not honest. I am just a visitor so I don’t think they care about it.
We were looking forward to some authentic Asian cuisine, with the combines Singapore/Raffles restaurants. We chose the more casual Singapore restaurant, such a shame! Casual would be an understatement, as the menu was not very descriptive and the size of the portions not explained at all. we decided on Spring rolls, Chicken Satay, Sweet&sour Chicken, Singapore Noodles. The size of the portions was huge, and each one was enough for two people, the satay was disappointingly bland with rice that is not normally served for that dish, the S&S chicken was OK, but way too much and the Singapore noodles were just OK. I should point out my wife is half-Malay and a very good judge on authenticity. This restaurant was quiet which we thought strange, but now I can see it is because even the locals think it is over priced and not really as authentic as it portrayed to be.
Good price/performance, friendly service, nice restaurant and halal.
Excellent, love this place. I'm visiting this Restaurant since years and never been dissapointed. You can either take away or seat and order.
Card payment only possible from CHF 15, self-service (assuming you figure it out yourself), the bottle of Singha costs CHF 6.50.
