Bidra med feedbackOur regular haunt during our stay at Mcleodganj. Once we found this place, we stuck to it. Be it their hazelnut and irish coffees or their filling breakfast combos, they were totally Yum! The apple pies (yes, multiple) that we had were some of the best. Highly recommended!
We visited for morning coffee and some snack. We ordered few types of coffee, you can't mess much with. So it was as expected. 4* Tried Tibetan bread with cheese. As it's first time I tired, didn't know what to expect.it was a bit sour and salty bread as explained by staff. I would give 3.5* for my taste. Pancake with vanilla ice cream scoop it looked like parota instead of pan cake it can be much better. 2.5*. Will I visit again? May be for coffee.
My friend and I ate here 3 times the 3 days we were in dharamshala. The food was so good, I wish I had more days there to try even more. Every time we came in, it smelt so good. We ordered the Thukpa, Thenthuk, cheese spinach momos, chocolate banana pancake, banana honey porridge, veg omelette, veg cheese burger, and I can’t remember the name but it’s bread stuffed with vegetables and a cheese deep fried (see pic). All of it incredible. The first visit we spent 5 hours there reading, and it felt like home away from home. They didn’t even kick us out which we would totally have understood if they did. Oh also I got the Apple pie with ice cream, just do it, you won’t regret it. They have a bookshelf with books you can read. Great Wi-Fi! The people there are so nice, I like how you can write down your order so there’s no confusion. The vibes are cozy and the food is good and at a reasonable price. Come here, feel good and be happy.
Wonderful place with fantastic ambience and truly lovely and kind owners and staff. The food is delicious and portions are generous. As a vegan I have been able to explore many items on the menu and have had no hassle with substitutions where necessary. Particularly love their thentuk as it’s loaded with veg, as are their amazing spring rolls. They also have an incredible selection of fresh juices and home brewed kombucha. If you’re in need of a western breakfast, Snow Lion has a great selection, including many vegan options (porridges, pancakes, set breakfast). Food is never oily and it’s great to have the option of steamed or lightly cooked veg. Walls lined with interesting books, locals, tourists, good tunes, a huge window which looks out at the temple opposite. It can be hard to leave this place once you’ve snuggled into one of their comfy seats…
The best place to eat, relax and share time with your thoughts or your friends. Kalsang, the owner is kind, compassionate and super thoughtful. The staff and chefs are brilliant. Snow lion has an ambience and a vibe unlike no other, it’s a place for me that feels like home. The menu is extensive but all the meals are lovingly prepared with fresh ingredients in a clean environment and everything is made from scratch. I was thrilled with the overwhelming amount of vegan options from snacks to meals, side dishes to the delicious pancakes. Really quite excellent vegan food! I can’t recommend this place enough and will eat here time and time again whenever I spend time in this area.
