Have been there a few times , but this time very disappointed,both in the service,and the food. Partner had seafood basket and I have pork belly, both were very greasy , and the salad very basic. Staff were very disinterested. We were there for a couple of hours, and from ordering our food to buying drinks they didn't speak to us at all just took our money

I fondly remember coming to the local pub with my parents during our annual summer holidays to Bicheno many years back. It was with great delight I was able to bring my own small children back. The pub raspberry was enjoyed by them just as much as I remember from my own childhood. Unlike my parents....I didn't enforce the one-drink, no skulling rule . The food is good quality and what you would hope for in such a setting. We went for the pub staples of fish

Stayed at the Big 4 cabin park just down the road and they recommended this place for dinner. Great location and excellent pub food. My husband had the scallops and said they were the best he had eaten. I had the gnocchi which was also fantastic. Also reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit.

I badly wanted to have fresh seafood during our Tassie Tour. We decided to have it at the restaurant of the Bestwestern where we were staying. It was absolutely delicious. I would recommend it to anyone. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. I just wish I had taken a photo to upload so everyone could see how fabulous it was.
