The Kentish Hare - Bidborough

Very good eating with mrs b and our 3 youngs. excellent child portions. our young are good eaters so that they are hungry after that. the chef was glad that the young came into the kitchen and see the action. quality of food very good. we're lucky to have this place in front of our doorstep. always a pleasure to eat here.

The third visit in this juwel of a pub for Sunday dinner and again not disappoint crack menu and friendly, attentive staff who, if asked what red wine would best be with the roast beef, absolutely nailed it! they are these details that me and friends always come back a great friendly atmosphere and very family-oriented, which is beautiful to see. Thanks again and we'll see you soon!

Beautiful meal, excellent service, but close to the kitchen kitchen extractor fans might be better! Windows doors had to be opened at one point, it was not the middle of the winter! the waitress was so helpful when I wanted to buy a cookbook, found a new copy that it packed for me.

I might be a bit biased as my son is the head chef. But it takes more than him to make the kentish hare a truly stunning place to eat. All the staff are fantastic making the service truly great. Beautiful surroundings and lovely In the garden on a sunny day drinking iced cold beer or wine. Wish I lived close enough to be here every day

Great food, great service and family friendly! We've been a few times and will keep coming back. The food is amazing. The staff are fantastic especially accommodating young children. The marmite butter and chorizo bites are to die for!
