Homestead At Big Sur Lodge

We love Big Sur. We love the Big Sur Lodge...and we love the restaurant

OK, so not the *best* food, but the ambiance made up for it, along with a Bluegrass group performing on the patio. As a bonus, the corkage fee was waived for Lodge guests. Wonderful head server who accommodated all our requests.

Very nice and quiet with great forest view. We had a great breakfast time there.

Considering it’s the only option while staying at the campsites at Pfeiffer State Park, it’s not bad. It feels quite decadent while camping. The food didn’t stand out as amazing but it was good.

Cooking quality preparation, interesting menu, many fresh local products. Very reasonable breakfast and lunch prices, dinner is Fancier BUT you can visit a less expensive meal of the small plates (I loved the generous steak spies with chimichuri sauce! or during the happy hour!
