Bidra med feedbackWe have eaten the Dinner Buffet twice this week, the food was delicious, the wait staff very attentive. The catfish was great! Desserts delicious, cherry cobbler yummy!
My wife and I went here to eat tonight and it is awful. The shrimp and catfish I got were both cold and not local seafood. Everything was just not good and they charged $30.00 per person. Clearly a tourist trap and I feel bad for the tourist that think that Flavors represents our fresh gulf seafood, It does not. The best seafood restaurant on the coast 2 people can eat there and have gulf fresh seafood and save about $30.00. We were both disappointed and will not return.
I don't know Don Young, but his review is spot on. My wife and I went to Flavors last night for the first time because my flight had it's Christmas party there. We paid $60 for this joke. And I thought McDonald's was bad? It would of been a better choice. The crab legs were dry, and very salty. The ice cream had a spoiled taste. My wife's cheesecake tasted like it was left out too long. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
I don't understand the negative reviews about this restaurant. I visited two nights ago and didn't encounter anything negative. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the service was attentive. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the seafood as it wasn't available at that time, but everything else was great. It also seems that the prices have decreased in the past year, as the buffet now ranges from $12-20 per person depending on the time of day and day of the week, definitely not as expensive as other reviews suggest.
We stopped at this restaurant on our way to New Orleans. I'm not usually a fan of casino buffet dining, but we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. The mac and cheese had unique spices that made it incredibly tasty, and the Asian broccoli and cauliflower with beef was so delicious that I had to go back for seconds.
