After the new opening on 07.09.2020, the Alte Wache family is focused on regional dishes. It was closed for 6 months due to corona, which was used for a complete renovation of the house and restaurant. On the ground floor you will find the restaurant with a large outdoor terrace and on the upper floor the wine lounge with a small fireplace room and a balcony on which you can also drink food wine. Local cuisine is in the foreground. Great wine map. We had the Slow Food menu. Very recommended!

In a city that has very obvious structural problems for the visitor, a place to feel good and enjoy. Compliment for the young team and the courage to achieve consistent renewal in a difficult time. The successful symbiosis between the modern interior and the historic building is complemented by the very good kitchen and the excellent friendly service. In particular, the upper chimney space has a very nice atmosphere due to the very successful wood and green colour structure. Only in the lower guest room can it become a bit fresh in winter due to the many glazed historic door windows, but I think you will readjust. You can only wish the fresh concept well.

After remodeling with new fresh flair, very appealing menu, competent service from Oberkellner, new wine varieties from the region, high quality dishes on high quality dishes, beautiful glasses and cutlery around a recommendation!!!

We have eaten with three people different menus that were all regional and seasonal. It tasted great. It is highly recommended to recommend the appropriate wines from the boss to the respective courses in the menu sequence - pure enjoyment! Several hours pass as in flight, and food will be a meal with culinary and social requirements. The sections are expedient and saturating. Anyone who is rather horny or who needs a plate-sized carving with a mountain pomerania for his physical well-being should return somewhere else. Staff are dedicated, attentive and charming, the ambience of harmonious and hospitable comfort. Eat regularly there!
