The Fox And Dogs - Birmingham

Visited the Fox Dogs in Mere Green for lunch. The staff were very friendly. The food was great. The manager Grant runs a great welcoming pub. Well worth a visit before it closes for a refurb and loses its soul.

Popped up from Southampton again, service as normal beyond my expectations. Will see you again in 6 months

Not a great experience today Booked for table of 5 and arrived to an empty bar. Turns out there were 2 staff, one was dealing with a large party and the other trying to get round clearing tables. Locals getting restless waiting for drinks and banging glasses on the bar trying to get attention. Staff looked stressed and female bar staff looked plain miserable. Had a drink and left. Drove to the bowling green in Lichfield, same pub chain but much better atmosphere, looked cleaner , staff more friendly and place was busy. Fox and Dogs gone to the dogs

Wide range of menus, food very good, service excellent. Friendly and courteous. We use the Fox and Dogs regularly.
