Bidra med feedbackArrived here on a busy Saturday evening We didn’t have a reservation but it wasn’t a problem. From start to finish everything was just perfect. 10/10 staff 10/10 food 10/10 comfort Will definitely visit this restaurant next time we are in Birmingham.
My daughter recently brought back a pasta dish from this restaurant for takeout. Unfortunately, the dish was very bland and had a strange aftertaste that reminded me of Wagamama's food. I checked the prices and was surprised to see that this dish cost £14, which I feel is overpriced. I cannot comment on the staff or service as I did not have any interaction with them.
Poor service average food Server ignored us at the door for some minutes. Finally seated. Poor demeanor came against as irritated and disinterested. Slammed our glasses down. Slow service. Food was fine.
I started with the calamari and had a cheese pizza for my main course. The service was quick, the food was delicious, and the location was pleasant. Definitely worth a visit!
I have visited Zizzi several times, including this occasion, and I have always enjoyed the food and received good service. On a quiet Wednesday night, there were plenty of tables outside and we sat down at one. The waiter arrived quickly and we explained that we only wanted drinks (as we had a dinner reservation at another restaurant a couple of hours later). He then informed us that we could only order alcoholic drinks with main courses, otherwise we could only have soft drinks, and walked away. This was quite strange, as I have never been to a place that wouldn't serve drinks when it wasn't busy, especially in such a relaxed setting. Zizzi is not a high-end restaurant! My friend and I decided to leave and walked a short distance to another bar that was more than happy to serve us. Unfortunately, Zizzi missed out on £40 worth of drinks.
