Bidra med feedbackThere are relatively few places where I had an honest goodness, melt-in-my-mouth Burger. This is one of those places. The Village Cafe is easy to miss, as it looks small and doesn't be ashamed of the street. It is only open for breakfast and lunch, and close at 14:00. My husband and I arrived on Monday at 12:30 and found the place busy but not packed. It is a very casual place that serves delicious home cooking. Our server, a young and very friendly server that was efficient and fast. She took our orders and our food was ready in about 15 minutes. I had the Santa Barbarian Burger, and I wish I had a picture of it, but if I dip into it a bit, I couldn't stop! That was, hands down, one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. The iced tea was cold and refreshing. My husband's drink, the homemade lemonade, was a bit on the tard side, but otherwise, okay. He ordered the Highway Burger, and he also ate the whole thing. We paid for our food and were on our way. I could get my husband back to work before his lunch was up. A word of advice, some sandwiches and burgers come as full order or half order. I ordered half the order and I'm glad I did. It was about the size of a burger by Carl's Jr, but a lot of tastier! I can't wait to go back to lunch.
Food was very tasty and will be coming here instead of Jack's...
Driving for hours we were looking for some good food and we found it here! I wish I'd ordered the half order, wasted way too much. Our server was very friendly too.
Wow! The owner is fantastic and truly aims to please. The prices are reasonable, and the food is excellent—definitely a hidden gem. I came across a negative review, but I think that's ridiculous; maybe the reviewer should have given it more time. I go there every morning, and the staff is amazing—very friendly and always up for a chat. They take your order quickly and with a smile. Parking can be a bit tricky, but it's absolutely worth it. The owner does the cooking, and he’s incredibly talented. I've been eating here for over 25 years, and I'm still not tired of it. If there were a higher rating scale, I would give it a 10 or more. Do yourself a favor and don’t miss out on this place!
This restaurant serves high-quality food that has a homemade taste. The servers are enthusiastic and friendly, which really highlights the overall experience. My favorite breakfast dish is the chili cheese frittata; it's delicious and not overly greasy. You can't go wrong with it!
