It is one of my husband and I things to stop at a Mexican restaurant anytime we travel. We were on our way home and we ended up passing through Bismarck. We decided on this one due to the reviews. For the most parts everyone did enjoy their food and seem very pleased with it. The only thing that we weren't happy with was it seemed overpriced. We have ate at a lot of Mexican restaurants so we can compare prices and this one seemed a little high to us. The service was great and our food came out very fast. The food was warm but not hot. My husband and nephew ordered the fajitas but we are used to them coming out sizzling hot as if they're still cooking. The ones that they got were not like that at all. Overall we did enjoy the restaurant and we would go back because of food was still flavorful.
Delicious flavors! I ordered the Carnitas, which came with two warmed tortillas in a foil wrap on the side. After loading up one with the meat rice beans, I was quite full. Service was excellent, very responsive and respectful. The guacamole tasted delicious not too spicy but imho was a bit over priced. A small bowl of about 1/2 cup of guacamole cost over $4! Also, my son enjoyed the fried ice cream, but keep in mind it was a cornflake crust that didn't look very fried. Still, we'll be back again!
Best Mexican restaurant in bismarck. no questions asked. Never had a bad meal and service is always 10/10
I really liked this place. Had an authentic feeling. Service was prompt. I have the seafood chimi. Very good. Well fried. Seafood not rubbery. Bay of Scallops and shrimps prominently like imitation cancer. Sawed onions and red peppers. Covered in a rich queso blanco. Accompanying rice was good. The fried beans were meh. chips good, often the best initial predictor of the quality of a Mexican restaurant. Salsa could have been kunker for my taste. I had the flan for Dessert. I thought it was very good, though it was a skin to skin the top of the custard. Anyway, it'll be back.
